Percent and Decimal
To convert a percentage to a decimal, divide by 100. So 25% is 25/100, or 0.25.
To convert a decimal to a percentage, multiply by 100 (just move the decimal point 2 places to the right).

Percent to Decimal
Percent to decimal conversion is done by shifting the decimal point to two places towards the left and removing the percent sign (%). For example, if 1% is given, its decimal conversion is 0.01
- Step 1: Remove the percentage sign (%).
- Step 2: Put a decimal point by taking two jumps from the right side towards the left.
In the case of a decimal percent also, for example, 2.5%, we have to shift the decimal point two places towards the left. So, 2.5% = 0.025.
